This half-day conference, co-hosted by CO PTAC and the Pikes Peak Chapter of NCMA, will consist of three panel discussions, each offered during three sessions. Each panel will contain subject matter experts in the field that will discuss current issues, trends, and your specific questions. Subject matter experts from Colorado business advisors will also be available for one-on-one discussions during the training conference, including procurement law, human resources, cybersecurity, and proposal development. The panels include:
Cybersecurity
Current implementation of NIST cybersecurity requirements in Federal Acquisition, emerging best practices, and practical tips for implementing a compliant cybersecurity program.
Small Business
Changes to legislation and regulations affecting small businesses, transition to the "All-Small" Mentor-Protégé program, and changes to small disadvantaged business certifications.
Emerging Topics in Procurement
Discussion of presentations from the 2018 Nash & Cibinic Roundtable. Presentations include incentive contracting, reforming the procurement process,other transactions, IDIQ contracting, rethinking the procurement of services, and a report from the Section 813 Technical Data Panel.
