It’s a requirement for all projects covered by the Federal Davis-Bacon Act and State Prevailing Wage Laws.

In this workshop, you will:

  • Learn how to comply with Davis-Bacon and associated Labor Laws on CDOT projects.
  • Understand the ins and outs of certified payrolls including wage conformance, site-of-work, trucking owner-operator, weekly submittals, and other payroll requirements.
  • Ensure accurate submission of payrolls to reduce payment delays.
  • Learn how to navigate LCPtracker, CDOT’s system for certified payrolls, from registration to basic contract and payroll reporting.

Monica Vialpando is a labor compliance officer for the CDOT Civil Rights & Business Resource Center. She is an expert in labor laws, prevailing wages, contractor compliance, LCPTracker and B2GNow Business Management Systems. Prior to joining CDOT, Monica spent several years as a teacher where she developed excellent communication and engaging presentation skills.
