The Colorado Department of Transportation's (CDOT) Center for Procurement and Contract Services, Connect2DOT and the Colorado Minority Business Office is hosting the 6th annual procurement open house. With your safety in mind and due to COVID-19, we are holding this event virtually this year! 

Pour yourself a cup of coffee and start your morning with valuable training sessions to learn how CDOT buys goods and services. Learn where bids are posted and get assistance to register on our bid platform. CDOT Programs, Divisions, and resource partners will provide you with video introductions via their virtual exhibitor booths.

All businesses regardless of size or ownership are encouraged to attend, including small businesses owned by minorities, women, and veterans.

Tentative Agenda:
  • 8:30 am - 8:45 am - Welcome & Opening Remarks
  • 8:45 am - 9:45 am - How CDOT Buys Goods & Services- Learn about cooperative agreements, small-dollar purchases, and competitive bidding opportunities
  • 10:00 am - 10:45 am - What CDOT Buys, A panel discussion with CDOT's Storerooms, and Maintenance and Safety Divisions
  • 11:00 am - 11:45 pm - Register to Bid, join BidNet/Rocky Mountain E-Purchasing as they walk you through how to set up your bid account, and search and respond to bid notices.
  • 12:00 pm - 3:30 pm - Visit CDOT & Partner Exhibitors, For your convenience exhibitors will be open for the duration of the event. Select exhibitor links for video introductions.
