Please join Denver International Airport (DEN) at the DEN Future Runway (Design, Program Management and Environmental Review Services) event on January 14 at 12 p.m. You'll learn about opportunities associated with these projects. This event is designed to introduce you to the DEN team and highlight key contracting needs while also providing crucial information about how to work with DEN.

Project Summary

  • Denver International Airport (DEN) is requesting to solicit Statements of Qualification (SOQ) from professional consulting firms to provide full professional design services for up to 30% design deliverables for the Environmental Review phase for future runway(s). Once the Environmental Review phase is complete, DEN may amend the contract to include 100% design deliverables and design construction support services for the 7th Runway. The Design Consultant services may include, but are not limited to, alternatives analysis; full construction bid contract documents; engineering studies, calculations and analysis; construction administration; reporting; surveying; civil, structural, electrical and, mechanical engineering (MEP); architecture; building energy modeling; sustainability; pavement design; design memoranda; design basis report (Engineers Report); construction cost estimates; master project scheduling; design support services during construction; construction phasing; well plug and abandonment; land acquisition and coordination or any other professional services or specific specialty disciplines necessary for execution of the project. The Division of Small Business Opportunity Office has assigned a 23% DBE goal for this project.
  • Denver International Airport (DEN) is requesting to solicit Statements of Qualification (SOQ) from environmental consulting firms to prepare the documentation for compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and other environmental laws, regulations, and orders applicable to future runway project(s) at Denver International Airport (DEN). FAA will determine the level of NEPA review required depending on the identification and evaluation of environmental impacts and assessing whether available mitigation efforts reduce these impacts below significant impact thresholds. The Division of Small Business Opportunity Office has assigned a 15% DBE goal for this project.
  • Denver International Airport (DEN) is requesting to solicit Statements of Qualification (SOQ) from professional consulting firms to provide a qualified Project Management Team (PMT) that will serve as a DEN Owners Representative that will provide Program Management Services for 30% design deliverables for the Environmental Review phase for future runway(s). Once the Environmental Review phase is complete, DEN may amend the contract to include PM/CM services for the 100% design contract deliverables and construction of the 7th Runway. The PMT will be responsible for administration and overall project governance and direction, implementing course corrections as needed. PMT duties will focus on project management, quality assurance testing and inspection, facilitating and measuring effective team integration, making recommendations on adjustments to the project schedule to reduce risks to the airport, change integration of program or other dynamic needs, and mitigating corrective action as needed. The Division of Small Business Opportunity Office has assigned a 25% DBE goal for this project.
