CDOT Announces $660 Million in Projects for Bidding this Year

Earlier this month, CDOT announced that more than $660 million in projects across the state w ill be put out to bid by the end of January 2020. This investment represents CDOT's next step in ongoing efforts to continue improving the safety and asset condition of transportation infrastructure across Colorado. CDOT is currently implementing a robust series of asset repair and maintenance projects that w ere identified last year. These projects range from repairing the I-25 South Gap near Colorado Springs, to resurfacing projects on segments of I-70, to safety projects across the state that yield improvements like w ider shoulders and passing lines, and visibility improvements through clearer striping.
