CDOT Bid Shop and Store Room Closing on January 31

09-Jan-2018 to 09-Feb-2018

Last year, CDOT closed down the Print Shop at Headquarters as part of a strategic plan to go electronic prior to moving Headquarters and Region 1 offices to their new building southeast of the West Colfax Avenue and Federal Boulevard interchange. At the end of this month, CDOT will officially close the Bid Plan Shop and Store Room and transition to an online service on B2G. Contractors will be able to access all bid plans for FREE from the new online system. When the new system launches, CDOT will stop providing CDs of bid plans or hard copies of award sets. All documents will be available electronically.

What you need to know:
  • Until January 31, you can pick up free CDs of any CDOT bid plans.
  • After January 31 (and possibly earlier), you can download all bid plan sets from a new electronic service on B2G.
  • This system is available for FREE but you will need to register as a contractor at if you have not already done so.
  • Project plan holder lists will now be accessible through the system.
  • If you are a plan holder, the new system will alert you of any revisions and you will be able to download related documents.
  • The CDOT Contracts office will provide prime contractors with an electronic award set.
  • Previous CDOT sponsored BidX account holders may request reimbursement for access to online plans through January 31.
  • Keep an eye out for training on the new B2G system later this month.
