CDOT DBE and ESB Applications and Renewals Go Completely Online

01-Oct-2014 to 20-Oct-2014

There's been a lot of talk about when CDOT would move to online DBE/ESB applications and renewals. Well, the time is here! You can now create an account on the CDOT online portal and submit your DBE or ESB application online.

The system is similar to the City and County of Denver's MWDBE system which allow s you to apply for DBE certification, as well as other City and County of Denver small business certifications. With the launch of the CDOT system, all Colorado DBE applications must now be submitted online. Paper copies will no longer be accepted. Registration and application for DBE/ESB certification is free.

Starting in October, all CDOT DBE and ESB renewal documentation must also be submitted electronically using the same online portal. CDOT will no longer accept paper Change Affidavits or No Change Affidavits. Every DBE/ESB firm is now required to provide online renewal documentation to CDOT by its annual anniversary date. No exceptions will be made and late renewals will have to go through a formal appeal process or the firm will have to wait one year to reapply.

If you need assistance completing the application or uploading documents in the new system, you can visit the CDOT Civil Rights & Business Resource Center or schedule an individual training session with a Connect2DOT consultant.
