CDOT Proposes 1.26% Overall Annual FTA DBE Goal for FY 2014 - 2016

10-Jun-2013 to 19-Jul-2013

CDOT has published a draft Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Goal Setting Methodology for Federal Transit Administration (FTA) assisted contracts for Federal Fiscal Years (FFY) 2014 - 2016. CDOT is proposing an overall annual DBE goal of 1.26 percent for FTA-funded projects.

CDOT’s Division of Transit and Rail (DTR) receives, distributes, and oversees the use of federal  funds received by FTA. Most DTR FTA funds are granted to transit providers in rural areas. These grantees (or subrecipients) then contract for goods and services creating indirect FTA-assisted contracting opportunities for DBE firms.

The overall annual FTA DBE goal and a description of the goal setting methodology are currently available for review and comment. Comments will be accepted in writing until July 18, 2013. Please submit your comments via email to
