Denver Launches M/WBE Mentor-Protege Program

18-Aug-2015 to 18-Aug-2015

The Denver Office of Economic Development (OED) Division of Small Business Opportunity (DSBO) is launching a Mentor-Protégé program to help build capacity among minority and woman-owned business enterprises (M/WBE) within the construction and professional services industry. Applications are now being accepted from certified M/WBE firms, as well as experienced businesses to serve as mentors.

The M/WBE Mentor-Protégé program will match successful, seasoned business leaders with smaller firms for business coaching. Protégés will receive coaching on public contract applications and contract performance, as well as a wide array of other business-management topics, from strategic planning to financial management and marketing.
