New Process for Adding Employees to CDOT Consultant Projects and MPA CDOT recently updated its policy for adding consultant employees to a preexisting Master Pricing Agreement (MPA). Currently, all consultants working on a CDOT project must be listed on the firm's MPA. CDOT requires approval of the individual's billing rate prior to any w ork being performed and/or invoiced.

In some cases, employees w ho are not already on the MPA need to be able to work on a project immediately. CDOT has outlined a process to handle these situations and streamline the addition of qualified employees on active projects. Essentially, the CDOT PM submits authorization to CDOT Audit and the prime consultant follow s up w ith required payroll records to obtain an approved billing rate for the employee.
