WORKNOW Construction Employment Platform Provides Training and Support

14-Mar-2018 to 24-Apr-2018

WORKNOW is an employment platform designed to help place, retain and advance workers on the Central 70 Project and other regional infrastructure projects. The ultimate goal is to build incomes for families through high-wage jobs in the construction industry and targeted resource support.
WORKNOW officially launched on CDOT's Central 70 project and serves multiple infrastructure projects across metro Denver, including the upcoming National Western Center. WORKNOW provides employment services in three key areas:

  • Resource Navigation: Support for services that may arise and act as a barrier to employment, like gas cards, child care access or driver's license reinstatement fees, etc.
  • Training and Career Guidance: Basic and middle skills training options can be customized for specific project positions; navigators can help you target hiring contractors on local projects.
  • Employment/Advancement: Quarterly job fairs for particular projects, support for online applications with construction contractors; retention and upskilling coaching to help you keep your job. If you're interested in learning more, please visit and sign up for an Information Session.
